Blackmagic Design Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2
Estimated delivery in Italy between 13 and 15 October
FEATURES
The Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 offers the same features as large studio cameras, but in a compact and portable form factor, designed for professional productions using SDI switchers.
Compared to the Studio Camera 6K Pro model, it does not introduce a Super 35 sensor or an EF mount, but rather retains the 4/3 cinematic sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range and the Micro 4/3 mount, compatible with a wide range of lenses with controllable iris, focus, and zoom.
This model stands out for its advanced connectivity: it integrates 12G-SDI inputs and outputs for program return complete with camera control, Tally, and Talkback, as well as an HDMI output with control functions. It also features professional XLR MIC/line audio inputs with Phantom power, ensuring broadcast-level sound quality.
Another key strength is the 10G Ethernet port, which carries all signals – video, return, Time Code, Tally, talkback, and control – through a single cable, enabling an SMPTE-style workflow that is much more economical and practical. To top it all off, there is a 7" high-brightness HDR LCD display, which ensures a clear view even in difficult lighting conditions, and the ability to record directly to USB-C disks in Blackmagic RAW.
The Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 is therefore a professional solution that combines compactness and portability with the connectivity and control functions typical of broadcast productions.
