The Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP 100G is a video capture and playback card designed for IP 2110 broadcast systems, and it sits at the top of the DeckLink IP series, which comprises four models in total.
It is a high-speed solution for simultaneous capture and playback of 8 Ultra HD video channels via 100G Ethernet. To ensure full redundancy, it features two 100G QSFP optical Ethernet ports, allowing stable and reliable transmission. The card is compatible with all SD, HD, and Ultra HD video standards up to 2160p60, ensuring high quality for professional productions. It also supports the most common compression formats, including Apple ProRes, DNxHD, and 10-bit uncompressed video. Thanks to its fourth-generation PCI Express 8x connection, it is compatible with both 8x and 16x PCI Express slots, ensuring low latency and precise synchronization with capture and playback software.
The card is equipped with an integrated video firewall, which protects the IP 2110 network from potential rogueware and hacker attacks, isolating the Ethernet port from any non-video or audio data. Additionally, it supports the NMOS protocol, allowing for the creation of virtual matrices for managing video sources and destinations within an Ethernet network.
