The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 is an advanced, compact live production switcher, ideal for high-end broadcast studios, with a control panel design that has been optimized for more intuitive use, with an improved button and function layout.
It features eight HDMI inputs with standard conversion, three independent HDMI outputs, and a built-in streaming engine that allows direct transmission without the need for external hardware. ISO recording allows all eight video inputs to be saved separately for editing.
10G Ethernet connectivity ensures rapid access to network storage, while XLR audio inputs with Phantom power and support for 32-channel digital MADI offer professional audio management. The device supports CFexpress and Thunderbolt for high-speed recording and playback. Multiview allows monitoring of up to sixteen sources simultaneously, while DVE and advanced chroma key enable the creation of professional graphic effects and overlays.
Thanks to the USB webcam function, it can be used as a video source for streaming software.
Compared to the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, the main difference is the addition of 10G Ethernet connectivity, which allows faster access to network storage. As mentioned, the G2 model also supports CFexpress and Thunderbolt, and furthermore, the number of HDMI outputs has been increased to three, compared to the two on the previous model. From an audio perspective, the G2 integrates XLR inputs with Phantom power and support for 32-channel digital MADI.
