The Ultimatte Smart Remote 4 G2 is a controller designed to manage up to eight Ultimatte 12 units in parallel via Ethernet connection, offering a fast, clear, and immediate working interface.
The heart of the device is a large 10.1" touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 resolution, allowing users to navigate menus and modify settings with the same fluidity as a software panel, but with the reliability of dedicated hardware. Alongside the screen, the control surface integrates physical buttons and eight knobs that allow precise adjustment of the most important parameters, while LED indicators intuitively show the status of connected units, clearly distinguishing between Online and On Air modes.
The remote offers a complete set of connections, including an HDMI 1080p 60 output, three USB-C 3.0 ports for connecting a mouse, keyboard, storage devices, or a computer for updates and configuration, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports for unit control and Ultimatte Setup software management. The File Clear button enables quick creation of high-quality automatic composites, while the Quick Load and Quick Save buttons allow immediate recall or saving of presets, even in combination with the Alt key.
The device is designed for easy integration into any production environment: it can be placed on an adjustable stand or rack-mounted using the included ears. Power is supplied via a 12 VDC connector with a safety lock, and the maximum power consumption is 24 W. It is compatible with macOS Sequoia or later and Windows 11, ensuring updates and management via the Ultimatte Setup utility.
