is an HDMI 2.1 splitter designed to distribute a single signal up to 8K to four simultaneous outputs.
It supports resolutions up to 8Kx60Hz and 4Kx120Hz, the latter being particularly valued in the gaming world, ensuring extremely smooth and detailed images.
It is compatible with high dynamic range (HDR) signals including HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG, ensuring a truly immersive visual experience and top-tier color reproduction.
It offers a bandwidth of 48Gbps in FRL (Fixed Rate Link) mode, full HDCP 2.3 compliance, and integrates gaming-specific features such as:
- VRR (Variable Refresh Rate)
- ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode)
Thanks to these features, the device is ideal for both next-generation Gaming applications and Home Theater systems and Professional AV environments.
Audio De-Embedding
The BG-8K-DA14A-G2 integrates an audio de-embedding function, allowing audio to be extracted from the incoming HDMI signal and made available:
- In digital format via S/PDIF output
- In analog stereo format via mini-jack L/R output
This function allows easy integration of the device into separate audio systems or amplified setups.
Advanced Scaling Functions
To ensure maximum compatibility with any display, an internal scaler is present, capable of:
- Performing automatic downscaling of the 8K signal if the connected display does not support it
- Converting HDR to SDR content, ignoring HDR metadata when necessary
This allows the use of latest-generation sources even with older monitors.
Advanced EDID Management
The device integrates 3 practical dip-switches that allow programming the EDID memory on the HDMI input.
This function allows forcing the desired resolution and format on the connected source, avoiding the need to manually change graphics card settings every time a new device is connected.
