The celexon HDMI cable with Ethernet is compatible with HDMI 2.0. The cable is therefore capable of transmitting signals up to 18 Gbps with resolutions up to 4K (4096x2160p @60 Hz with 8-bit color depth) and 4K HDR with 10-bit color depth. With the help of HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, a greater dynamic and color range can be displayed, making the image brighter and more detailed.
According to official HDMI specifications, the Celexon Professional HDMI cable series supports a bandwidth of up to 18 Gbps with a cable length of up to 5 m. By using a direct connection between the transmitter and the receiver, Celexon was able to achieve the transmission of the full 18 Gbps bandwidth in its tests, even with 7.5 m and 10 m long cables.
For a secure connection of the full bandwidth required for transmitting 4K HDR images and 10-bit color depth (3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 hertz and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling), celexon recommends the use of active or optical HDMI cables from 7.5 m.
The additional Ethernet channel allows you to connect compatible AV components to your home internet network using a single HDMI cable. The AV receiver or Blu-ray player can therefore receive not only the actual video signal but also the network via the HDMI cable. The connection is therefore quite simple: the TV just needs to be connected to the network via cable. This type of connection eliminates the need for a network switch and additional cables*.
The HDMI cables in the Professional line are triple-shielded and, thanks to their gold-plated contacts, ensure reliable transmission performance and high resistance to corrosion.
