FEATURES
The celexon DisplayPort cable is compliant with version 1.2 and transmits signals up to 21.6 Gbps with resolutions up to 4K (4096 x 2160p 60 with 10-bit color depth). Thanks to 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, all brightness and image information is transmitted optimally.
Multi-Stream Transport (MST) mode allows for the management of multiple monitors via the PC's DisplayPort interface. There are two different modes for using this feature: via Daisy-Chain (like a chain), multiple monitors can be powered on in sequence, or the monitors can be connected via an additional DisplayPort MST Hub.
The number of displays that can be connected via MST depends on the resolution of the individual displays; for example, it is possible to connect 4 displays with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080p 60).
Displays connected via Daisy-Chain, with the exception of the last display in the chain, must have a DisplayPort receiver and transmitter so they can send and receive the video stream directed to the display itself and to the other components in the chain. As soon as the monitor extracts the video and audio stream addressed to it, the device transmits the remaining part of the video and audio stream along the chain. Each monitor that is part of the daisy-chain configuration must possess all the information.
The alternative method for using MST with multiple displays requires the presence of an MST Hub. The MST Hub splits the total bandwidth of a DisplayPort output and, for example, allows for the sending of 4 independent Full HD signals at 60 Hz. MST Hubs can distribute these video signals (with audio) to the connected monitors. This type of configuration also allows for the use of displays with different inputs.
Professional Line DisplayPort cables feature triple shielding and, thanks to gold-plated contacts, are resistant to corrosion and ensure reliable signal transmission.
The celexon Professional Line series is characterized by its reliability, careful workmanship, and elegant design.
