FEATURES
The celexon DisplayPort to HDMI cable complies with DisplayPort version 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 specifications and transmits signals up to 10.2Gbps with resolutions up to 4K (4096x2160p @30 Hz with 8-bit color depth). Thanks to 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, all brightness and image information is transmitted optimally. The celexon DisplayPort to HDMI serves as both a cable and an adapter.
The celexon DisplayPort to HDMI cable is unidirectional; meaning it allows for the connection of DisplayPort sources (PC, laptop, etc.) to HDMI playback devices (display, projector, etc.).
Multi-Stream Transport (MST) mode allows for the management of multiple monitors via a PC's DisplayPort interface. There are two different modes for using this function. Daisy-chaining (like a chain) allows for the sequential powering of multiple monitors, or monitors can be connected via an additional DisplayPort MST Hub.
The number of displays that can be connected via MST depends on the resolution of the individual displays; for example, it is possible to connect 4 displays with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080p @60 Hz).
Displays connected via daisy-chain, with the exception of the last display in the chain, must have a DisplayPort receiver and transmitter so that they can send and receive the video stream directed to that display and to the other components in the chain. As soon as the monitor extracts the video and audio stream addressed to it, the device transmits the remainder of the video and audio stream along the chain. Each monitor that is part of the daisy-chain configuration must possess all the information.
The alternative method for using MST with multiple displays requires the presence of an MST Hub. The MST Hub splits the entire bandwidth of a DisplayPort output and, for example, allows for the transmission of 4 independent Full HD signals at 60 Hz. MST Hubs can distribute these video signals (with audio) to the connected monitors. This type of configuration also allows for the use of displays with different inputs.
Professional Line DisplayPort cables feature triple shielding and, thanks to gold-plated contacts, are corrosion-resistant and ensure reliable signal transmission.
The celexon Professional Line series is distinguished by its reliability, careful craftsmanship, and elegant design.
