Il cavo audio Cinch Digital di celexon trasmette segnali audio digitali stereo e multi-canale in maniera affidabile ed è ideale per la connessione tra dispositivi di input e output con porta digitale SPDIF.
Grazie all'interfaccia coassiale SPDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface), i segnali audio vengono trasmessi senza compressione e perdite di segnale. Tramite la codifica digitale via PCM (Pulse-Code-Modulation) possono essere trasmessi anche segnali stereo analogici senza compressione.
I cavi Cinch analogici non sono adatti alla trasmissione digitale di questi segnali elettrici, in quanto hanno un'impedenza di 50 ohm. Per la trasmissione elettrica di segnali digitali è necessaria un'impedenza di 75 ohm.
Grazie all'elevata schermatura, il cavo è protetto da eventuali interferenze, come quelle provocate da telefoni portatili e altre fonti radio. Il diametro ridotto rende il cavo flessibile e maneggevole.
