FEATURES
The celexon VKS2040 video conferencing system ensures quality video calls, with optimal sound and image clarity.
Easy to install, it integrates into any small to medium-sized environment. Via the supplied remote control, the camera can be intuitively managed, while the onboard menu allows adjustment of recording quality and management of memory space, which includes over 255 preset options.
The microphone included in the delivery is capable of detecting voices and sounds within a maximum range of 3 m, and the speaker reaches a maximum playback volume of 80 dB. Thanks to these practical accessories, participants can comfortably remain seated and communicate from their own workstations.
With Full HD resolution (1920x1080@30fps), the celexon camera ensures quality footage and images. With a field of view of 72° (HOV), it can capture 6-8 participants simultaneously, and thanks to its motorised optics, the image can be rotated and tilted respectively by -170° / +173° and -30° / +90°. The camera also features autofocus and 10x zoom, capable of clearly and recognisably capturing even distant objects and people.
The 1/2.8"-Exmor CMOS image sensor and 2.1MP deliver sharp, smooth high-definition images at 30p, which are extremely precise and recognisable even in low-light environments. The VKS2040 camera can be connected to a PC via the USB 2.0 A-A cable (included) or, alternatively, to the network via an RS232-DIN8M cable - not included in the delivery.
The VKS2040 conference camera offers the user a wide range of functions capable of optimising video calls. Among the many functionalities, automatic white balance (AWB) is a preset that allows the camera to adapt to the ambient light level, in order to clearly capture objects and participants, thus providing homogeneous and balanced brightness. As the light and shadow ratio in your office changes, the camera automatically adjusts, and it is therefore not necessary to interrupt your meeting to change settings.
ONBOARD MENU | The onboard menu allows setting and adjusting the functions of PTZ cameras (P = Pan | T = Tilt | Z = Zoom), which is why this type of conference cam is the most commonly used in business environments. Possible settings include autofocus and focus reaction time. After selecting the desired parameters, they can be stored via a key combination on the remote control. Once the video call has started, it will be necessary to dial the simple combination to activate a specific preset, for quick and efficient use.
SPEAKER AND MICROPHONE | The VKS2040 video conferencing system is equipped with a microphone module capable of picking up sounds and voices within a maximum range of 3 m. Just connect the module to the PC via USB and it's ready for use.

The small and compact size of the speaker saves desk space. It reaches a maximum volume of 80 dB.
