The Neutrik Silent connector is a type of audio jack connector designed to reduce noise during cable connection and disconnection. In the Neutrik Silent connector, the ground contact is touched last when the cable is inserted, and is disconnected first when the cable is removed. This means that the audio signal is fully transmitted before the ground contact is touched, and the ground contact is disconnected before the audio signal is interrupted. The Neutrik Silent connector features a cable retention mechanism that securely holds the cable to the connector, preventing accidental disconnections during use. The cable retention mechanism is designed to be easy to use, allowing for quick and effortless insertion and removal of the cable. Furthermore, the Neutrik Silent connector uses an internal insulation system that prevents vibration transmission through the cable, helping to reduce background noise and improve the quality of the transmitted audio signal.
