The Quantum clocking is the same as that used in the Avocet IIA DAC model.
In the HEDD Quantum model, sub-ps jitter clocking is applied to both the AD and DA.
This allows for excellent signal imaging, a very open 3D sound, and a precise response. Additionally, optical inputs and outputs have been added.
HEDD Quantum as master clock
The 6 WC outputs allow the device to be used as a master clock simultaneously with the AD and DA functions.
In addition to AD, DA, Clocking, I/O, and WC outputs. HEDD Quantum retains the DSP emulation of triode, pentode, and Tape valves.
Operating modes allow for simultaneous use of DA and AD at different sampling rates. In DIGI configuration, the unit uses the digital input from one of the three sources and routes it to all three digital outputs as well as the analog output.
In ANA mode, the analog input is routed to the three digital outputs and the analog output.
The Dither value is analogically generated and selectable for 16 or 20 bits.
