The Crumar DK61 is the ideal controller for tonewheel organ (Hammond) sounds. It features 9 real drawbars (not faders), controls for percussion, vibrato, Leslie control, etc., and a proprietary Crumar 61-key "Waterfall" keyboard developed in collaboration with Pulse Keyboards.
The Crumar DK61 offers total control, has a very fast action with close initial contact (typical of the Hammond organ) despite weighing only 2 kg.
The instrument can be powered directly via computer or a USB charger and can send and receive MIDI data via the rear USB port. It also features a traditional MIDI OUT port and connections for a half-moon selector (HMS-20-BK) or footswitch (CFS-12), sustain pedal, and expression pedal.
The DK61 has a very traditional design with wooden sides and top. Finally, owners of software and sound modules that replicate the tonewheel organ sound have the opportunity to manage them using a controller designed for this purpose, with all the necessary hardware features for this peculiar instrument at an extremely affordable cost.
