Vintage Digital Piano
The Crumar Seven is not just another digital piano, but an innovative instrument with a vintage look. As you can see, it is housed in a wooden case and has a shape that recalls some of the most famous electric pianos from the early Seventies. This type of design was almost mandatory at the time, as it was practical for the user to transport and for the manufacturer to assemble, and it was designed to support a very heavy structure made up of several large moving mechanical parts. At some point, when digital electronics took over from the old mechanical and analog keyboards, the concept of the portable piano gradually changed, making instruments smaller and lighter, to the point where some modern digital pianos are small enough to be carried in a bag. But do they look good on stage? Do they have the class, solidity and comfort of the old electric pianos? What about the sound? Almost all digital pianos offer mainly piano sounds based on sampled material, and all aim to emulate a grand piano, overlooking the sounds of famous electric pianos, treating them as minor extras. Now there is the Crumar Seven, which represents the latest technology in sound generation in the form and appearance that all keyboard players love. The main focus of Crumar Seven is the electric piano: those sounds that have made music history over the past decades. All sounds are based on real-time physical modeling technology, different types of synthesis specifically designed to faithfully reproduce a particular type of sound. Of course there is also a physical model of a grand piano, for a total of nine different synthesis engines. Portable, elegant, lightweight, one of the most revolutionary stage pianos of today, complete with case, metal legs and accessories, the Crumar Seven functions as a digital instrument but sounds like an analog electro-acoustic instrument and redefines the concept of stage piano.

Today, Crumar develops and manufactures keyboards, digital pianos, stage organs, and synthesizers, combining classic sounds with modern technology. Its instruments include the Mojo series of organs, inspired by traditional tonewheel organs, and the Seven and Seventeen digital pianos, designed to reproduce the character of vintage electric instruments.
