Stereo Equalizer
The DANGEROUS MUSIC BAX EQ is a stereo equalizer that utilizes the well-known Baxandall EQ curves, offering subtle yet profound control over broad sections of the frequency spectrum. Starting far below and above the limits of human hearing, the wide, gentle EQ curves delicately affect audible frequencies in ways that other EQs cannot. This unique design delivers sweet, open highs along with powerful, three-dimensional lows that simply cannot be achieved with other EQs.
In addition to simple shelf controls, the BAX EQ features sophisticated filtering options that greatly expand its versatility. Cut filters at both ends of the spectrum exclude unnecessary frequencies that would be boosted at the ends of the shelves themselves. At the low end, you can cut below 12 Hz, where background noise, infrasonic noise, and DC-offset in live recordings are found. At the high end, you can cut ultra-sounds like 70 kHz that can generate out-of-band noise, resulting in harshness in many A/D converters.
