The DANGEROUS MUSIC CONVERT - AD + is a stereo AD converter with two selectable discrete stereo inputs and two different input paths. The DANGEROUS MUSIC CONVERT - AD + employs proprietary technology that simply removes all clips from digital audio but never alters the sound, even when the converter is deliberately clipped to achieve tonal artifacts. Today's digital playback platforms (iTunes, Spotify, etc.) have filters that scan masters for clips and reject and/or attenuate them. With meter zoom technology, only the first 10dB of dynamic activity can be accentuated, providing deep insight into what matters most when mixing and mastering. The DANGEROUS MUSIC CONVERT - AD + also features a button that activates a pair of series-connected Hammond transformers, which add that typical color to the mix. The DANGEROUS MUSIC CONVERT - AD + offers an open, full-bodied sound free of unwanted artifacts, yet bold and spatially three-dimensional.
