The Compact 8.1 is an excellent quality 1U 19" microphone line mixer. Thanks to some smart features, it stands out from all other compact mixers. All inputs can be used for microphone or line-level inputs, and feature high-pass filters and phantom power for each input. It has a balanced master output, a recording output, as well as a monitor output. The headphone level also affects the monitor output, thus transforming it into an independent output for a second area or zone. The main equalizer has a sweepable mid-frequency that helps eliminate the system's feedback frequency if the Compact 8.1 device is used as a microphone mixer. All channels have signal/clip indicators, which provide a direct overview of input signals even from a distance. The Compact 8.1 combines a clear user interface with maximum input and smart functionality for a 1U mixer.
