The GIG-143 TAB digital mixing console is the first 19" 3U rackmount digital mixing console in the GIG range produced by DAP-Audio. It is a mixing console that features all the functionalities of larger digital mixers available on the market. It has 8 XLR/TRS combo inputs and 3 stereo TRS inputs, all equipped with a gate, compressor, and full 4-band parametric equalizer on each input channel. The 2 analog outputs are equipped with a compressor as well as a 31-band graphic equalizer. Despite this compact digital mixer having a multitude of functions, DAP Audio has managed to design an interface that is understandable by all users, regardless of their level of experience. To this end, DAP-Audio has added dedicated direct access buttons for all important functions a sound engineer might need during their performance. This way, the user can directly access the desired function without getting lost in complex menu structures. Direct control is essential live, which is why all channels are equipped with an input fader and are always automatically assigned to the main parameter of the selected functionality. In this way, the console also offers an "analog" feel in the digital environment. The GIG-143 TAB features a bright OLED screen, 4 dedicated AUX outputs and a "control room" output, 1 integrated effects engine, 6 user-definable DCAs, and an internal 24-bit/48kHz sampling rate: all these elements make this product the most complete and interesting digital mixing console in its market segment.
