DAP’s Pro Audio solutions consist of a comprehensive line of audio tools for professional musicians and sound engineers, such as mini-mixers, pre-amps, and converters, available in active or passive versions. All solutions have been designed to meet the highest demands on stage and in audio, featuring robust metal casings with rubber feet and easily accessible controls. The units also have a particularly compact body, making them ideal for all locations where space is also of fundamental importance.The SDI-202 is a multi-function unit and can be powered by a 9V battery or a mixer with phantom power. The instrument mode has a high impedance, allowing connection of instruments with high output impedances, such as an electric guitar or acoustic guitars with a piezo-ceramic pick-up element. This mode also allows the connection of electrical devices with an unbalanced output, such as keyboards or DJ mixers without balanced outputs. The RCA input is the ideal solution for this type of configuration. It also features a speaker mode that allows direct connection of guitar amplifiers to the SDI-202 device. The balanced outputs of the SDI-202 device emit a clean signal at a low level, which also allows for longer cable runs. The SDI-202 device offers a homogeneous frequency response on any connected input signal, while also providing the benefit of cancelling interference, hum, and noise.
