The DAP COM-BTX BT 5.0 Audio Receiver is a high-quality wireless receiver that can be connected directly to an XLR input, transforming an active speaker into a BT speaker or adding BT reception to a mixer. Thanks to its modern BT 5.0 standard, it is compatible with many electrical mobile devices and laptops and offers an excellent range of over 40m (free optical visibility). With support for aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs, the receiver can deliver a high level of sound quality. It offers mono audio signal output via the male XLR plug, but it also features stereo output via a 3.5 mm TRS jack socket. When a pair of COM-BTX receivers is used, the mono output is configured to transmit the right or left audio signal (instead of a combined, mono signal from both channels). This is particularly convenient when two (active) speakers are set up as a stereo pair.The unit features an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery and is capable of operating without external power for at least 8 hours at an average signal level. Power/charging can be done with a standard 5V USB charger via a micro-USB socket. A USB to micro-USB charging cable is included (5V power adapter not included).
