The DAP IA-270 2x 70 W is a compact and stylish audio power amplifier for fixed installations. It has an internal high-pass filter (100 Hz) that can be activated per channel via a switch on the rear. The IA-270 has balanced jack inputs and terminal inputs that are looped to the terminal outputs. You can choose to forward the original audio signal or apply the gain settings. You can use the amplifier as a stereo amplifier, but with the audio loop, it can also be configured as a dual mono amplifier. Thanks to its fanless convection cooling, the amplifier is completely silent during operation.
The extruded aluminum housing follows the design of existing DAP audio tools, albeit with a slightly larger footprint. The unit's height is a simple single rack space (1 U). All controls are deliberately placed on the rear to prevent unintentional changes during daily operation. LEDs on the front indicate the amplifier's status.
