10" Passive Full Range Speaker
The DAP NRG series consists of lightweight full range speakers with 8” to 15” woofers and subwoofers with 12” to 18” drivers, available in passive and active versions. The series is designed for mobile DJ applications or permanent installations in small to medium-sized venues. All NRG speakers use sturdy yet lightweight plywood enclosures, dual-angle pole mounts and M10 rigging points on the full range speakers, M20 adaptors on the subwoofers, a professional wear-resistant polyurea coating, and robust connectors to deliver outstanding sound quality at a very competitive price.The DAP NRG-10 is a passive full range speaker rated at 550 watt peak (150 watt continuous RMS). It uses a 10” woofer and a 1” compression driver. With a sensitivity of 94 dB/W/m, the NRG-10 comfortably reproduces up to 115 dB with peaks up to 127 dB. The compression driver is coupled to a rotatable horn with 90°x60° directivity. The woofer has a low cut-off point of 70 hertz (-6 dB). The lightweight but sturdy plywood cabinet has a dual angle top hat (0° and 5°) which allows you to aim the cabinet downwards if pole mounted. It uses 4-pole speaker input and through connectors and offers an additional 4-pin terminal connector, which is particularly useful for permanent installation applications. To get the most out of the NRG-10, we recommend using a 4th order high-pass filter at 50 hertz and adding a subwoofer from the NRG series.
