The DAP Odin Line Array series is a versatile high-energy sound system suitable for indoor and outdoor events for up to 2500 visitors. It is a scalable and rental-friendly solution for both stacked and flown setups, fitting almost any venue of any size. Odin systems feature a robust design and are able to deliver an incredible sound quality at an incredibly low price. With DAP Odin, DJs, bands, actors and other performers can quickly and easily create deep, punchy bass, subtle instrumental details and authentic vocal emotions.The Odin Active series includes active line array satellites (T-8A), active line array subwoofers (S-18A and S-218A) and active full-range speakers (SF-12A and SF-15A). The DSP settings of each (group of) speaker(s) in a setup can be adjusted from a laptop through a network. Up to 48 units can be connected to the CL-4 network interface. Celestion components, DSP optimisation and Class D amplifiers ensure excellent sound quality in any venue and setup.
Various stacking and flying solutions are available with fly bars, stacking bars, pole mount adapters and stage towers. Safe transport and storage are also guaranteed by flight cases, transport covers and wheeled racks. The IP covers protect the speakers from heavy rain, making them a reliable and trustworthy companion in any circumstance.
The DAP Odin S-218A is a bold and sturdy subwoofer suitable for medium to large audiences. It produces an impressive wall of sound with a frequency response as low as 28 Hz for extremely deep bass. The internal 4 kW high-power Class D amplifier has a peak output of 10,000 watts. The subwoofer is designed to be used in conjunction with the T-8(A) line array satellites for super-punchy full-range sound.
The Odin S-218A features two 18” Celestion ferrite subwoofers containing a 5” voice coil with an astonishing output of up to 141 dB SPL at 1 meter. DSP settings are configurable to ensure the S-218A performs in any circumstance and configuration.
Various DSP presets are available, including “Cardioid” and “End Fire” modes. An excellent addition to the T-8(A) satellite and S-18A subwoofer to literally bring more power and depth to your live shows.
The free Odin Editor software, in combination with CL-4 Connect, allows you to freely adjust the EQ, gain and delay per speaker or per group of speakers from a Windows PC/laptop. It also allows you to monitor real-time information from each speaker, such as amplifier temperature and high/low output. In addition, the EASE Focus 3 software can be used to calculate the opening angle and “throw”. A plug-in has been developed to add our speakers to the database.
