The DAP PA-5500SA is a 1U internet radio with a built-in 460W/100V amplifier and media player. It supports multiple (wireless) media sources such as LAN, Wi-Fi, and USB with support for AAC, AAC+, ALAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, and WAV, features BT 5.0 with aptX HD support, 5 line inputs, and a TRS/XLR combo input on the front for microphone and line signals. It can also act as a Wi-Fi hotspot to which devices can cast. The Class D amplifier delivers 2 x 240W into 8 ohms and can be bridged to deliver up to 240W at 100V.
The PA-5500SA features front panel controls for mode selection, master volume, microphone level, bass and treble, and an OLED screen displaying information. Advanced settings can be controlled via the included IR remote control or the 4stream app which supports Spotify, Tidal, TuneIn, Amazon Music and more. 6 presets for radio stations (TuneIn) or playlists (Spotify) make it quick and easy to select your favorite music source.
