Il DAP SC-5.2 Source Control è un selettore di sorgente audio stereo con controllo del volume e telecomando per scopi di installazione. Consente di regolare il volume e cambiare le sorgenti audio sull’unità stessa, tramite il telecomando a infrarossi incluso o un pannello a parete disponibile separatamente, l’SC-WP1. Dispone di 3 ingressi di linea audio non bilanciati con connettori RCA placcati in oro, 1 ingresso di linea audio bilanciato con una spina terminale adatta per cavi lunghi e un ingresso audio mono sommato aggiuntivo tramite il pannello a parete SC-WP1 disponibile separatamente, che può essere commutato tra livello di linea e livello di telefono. L’uscita fornisce un segnale audio stereo bilanciato tramite un connettore terminale. Il volume viene impostato utilizzando un encoder rotante che controlla un potenziometro digitale per un suono di alta qualità. L’impostazione del volume è indicata dai LED.
Il pannello a parete SC-WP1 è collegato tramite una porta RJ45 standard e cavi CAT5/CAT6 schermati. È disponibile un ulteriore ingresso RJ45 per controllare il SC-5.2 Source Control da un dispositivo compatibile con RS232/RS485. Viene fornita una porta di estensione del telecomando a infrarossi per collegare una prolunga a infrarossi disponibile opzionalmente nei casi in cui non è possibile ottenere una linea visiva diretta tra il telecomando e l’unità SC-5.2.
