2-Channel Installation Amplifier (2x 1200W)
The DAP SI-2.1200 is a compact and lightweight 2-channel power amplifier for fixed installations. In a 1U rack space, it delivers 2x 1200 W into 4 ohms, is capable of driving 2-ohm loads and can be bridged for even more power. It is designed for low impedance and high current with excellent stability.
It features a clip limiter and DC output protection to prevent loudspeaker damage. Overload and output short-circuit protection protect the amplifier from failure, as do over-temperature protection and high-temperature power attenuation.
Signal, Clip, Fault, and Power LEDs indicate the status of the amplifier. The output level can be adjusted for each channel using the volume controls. The gain can be set on the rear panel for a 0.775V input or 32dB gain, and a mode switch selects stereo, mono and bridge modes.
The universal switching power supply uses active PFC and soft-switching technology, accepts 100 to 250 VAC input voltages and is optimised for the audio power amplifier.
