The logo can be rotated to match the speaker's position. In the Xi-8 and Xi-10 models, the horn is also rotatable to ensure the desired sound dispersion. Mounting Options Multiple mounting options are possible as the compact yet powerful Xi series is designed to fit various locations. This includes mounting brackets, a wall bracket, and a speaker suspension ring for proper attachment to any wall, ceiling, or truss. Excellent Audio Quality Despite their compact design, Xi loudspeakers have excellent audio quality. Their 2-way system features a powerful subwoofer and a Celestion HF driver for improved sound performance. Variations Xi loudspeakers range from a compact 5-inch model to a powerful 10-inch model. All four models (Xi-5, Xi-6, Xi-8, and Xi-10) are available in both white and black to suit any environment. The DAP Xi-5C is a compact, high-quality, multi-purpose speaker designed for clear and consistent coverage in retail, hospitality, theaters, auditoriums, stages, live sound, and corporate environments. It uses a premium 5” Celestion coaxial driver that provides a coherent point source with excellent intelligibility and a smooth off-axis response. Despite its small footprint, the Xi-5C achieves up to 117 dB at 1 m, with a frequency response of 80-20,000 Hz and a wide 100° dispersion, ensuring even coverage throughout the listening area. The internal crossover can be switched from passive to bi-amp mode for maximum system control. It handles up to 150 W RMS (300 W peak). With a nominal impedance of 16 ohms, multiple speakers can be paralleled on a single amplifier channel in distributed configurations. Installation is quick and reliable thanks to two linked 4-pole speaker connectors (supporting passive and bi-amp modes) for easy loop-through and a 4-pole terminal connector (passive mode only) with loop-through for fixed wiring. An M6 threaded mounting point on top offers simple mounting options, the rear features holes for the universal DAP speaker bracket, and the sides have holes for the dedicated Xi-5C suspension bracket. On the underside, an integrated 3/8” thread allows for mounting on a stand (microphone). The sturdy white coating and steel screen grille ensure durability and a discreet appearance that blends into any interior.
