The ACTION-S118A is an active subwoofer system designed to provide exceptional performance in terms of output power,
bandwidth extension and distortion. The ACTION-S118A incorporates the 18LX loudspeaker equipped with a 4″ voice coil,
which provides excellent power handling, reduced distortion and power compression.
The ACTION-S118A incorporates a high-power (3200 W peak) amplifier design
that provides ample headroom and precision. The amplifier uses the latest Class D design.
The subwoofer system includes two balanced inputs with 100 Hz filtered stereo output connections
for ACTION satellite systems. The high-pass filter can be deactivated to provide stereo "loop thru" connections.
A variable low-pass filter from 63 Hz to 100 Hz, gain control, and polarity inversion increase
user control over the system. The signal present and limiter LED indicators show the system status
and help set the optimal level, using the level control knob. The top panel
offers a 35 mm pole mount socket for installing DAS "full-range" systems
above the ACTION-S118A subwoofer unit.
