The Altea duo-20A is a portable 3-way active column system made of ABS with a wooden subwoofer, designed for mobile applications such as corporate events, celebrations, conferences, live music, and more.
Power and DSP Technology
The system features a Class D two-channel amplifier with universal power supply and a peak power of 2000W, providing the necessary dynamics for an ultralight system. The DSP board integrates DAScontrol technology, with an LCD display and rotary knob for selecting multiple acoustic modes (presets) based on the system's use, as well as access to additional configuration options.
The DSP includes two independent mic/line inputs with separate volume controls and a third input for instruments, ideal for keyboards, basses, and guitars. Furthermore, the system allows wireless audio streaming from mobile devices and is fully controllable via the DASlink GM app.
Components and Sound Quality
The system integrates two 10″ 10MG woofers, specifically developed for low-frequency reproduction with ultra-low distortion levels, thanks to a powerful magnetic assembly and a high-excursion cone suspension design.
For mid and high-frequency reproduction, the upper part of the system includes four 3″ 3PN drivers with neodymium magnets and a 1″ M27N neodymium compression driver, coupled to a 100º x 50º horn. The horizontal directional control provided by the horn is highly uniform across the entire high-frequency spectrum (f>1000Hz), while the compression driver ensures clear and defined high frequencies.
