The EVENT-115A is an active subwoofer that uses a 15” low-frequency transducer
front-loaded and developed by DAS.
Designed as a complementary subwoofer to the EVENT-26A, the two models share a compatible rigging system that allows suspended or stacked configurations.
The 15FW4 15” speaker used in the EVENT-115A was designed by DAS to offer exceptional performance and reliability.
The speaker design has been optimized through finite element analysis (FEA) and incorporates a 3” extended voice coil for high efficiency and long excursion.
The 15FW4 model features polar ventilation and several rear vents that facilitate efficient ventilation by minimizing air intake, thus ensuring optimal acoustic performance for prolonged periods of stress.
To provide the necessary power, there is an innovative Class D amplifier with a peak power of 1200W.
The rear panel features high-quality Neutrik® XLR connectors and a loop-thru output for connection to EVENT-26° systems.
Thanks to the recallable presets via the DAScontrol™ interface on the rear of the cabinet, configuring a complete system is extremely simple.
The cabinet is made of birch plywood with a robust design and finished with ISO-flex protective coating for increased durability.
The suspension mechanics are compatible with the EVENT-26A, allowing it to be suspended above the units or in stacked mode.
A stand housing is available on top that allows an EVENT-26A to be used in a combined configuration.
