The EVENT-218A self-powered subwoofer is designed for high-performance professional applications, thanks to its configuration with dual 18” speakers from DAS's renowned long-excursion LX series. The cabinet, constructed from birch plywood and finished with durable ISO-flex paint, is designed for horizontal use and integrates a pole mount on the top panel, making it extremely versatile in various configurations.
The integrated amplifier provides a peak power of 3600 W and includes advanced features typical of high-end systems, such as cardioid mode via a dedicated preset, which allows for optimized management of coupled subwoofer configurations. The system features dual balanced inputs (A-B) and stereo outputs with a 100 Hz high-pass filter for connecting to satellites; by disabling the filter, the outputs function as loop-thrus.
System control is complemented by a low-pass filter adjustable between 80 and 125 Hz, gain control, and polarity inversion (0°–180°), offering high operational flexibility and precise low-frequency management. Thanks to the combination of power, control, and build quality, the EVENT-218A is an ideal solution for live applications, installations, and professional sound reinforcement systems.
