Compact line array system - 2x 10”-2000W Peak - Class D – 24 bit DSP with FIR filters – Smart Self Tuning IR
The EVENT-30A is a compact, active, two-way line array system designed to deliver high acoustic performance and exceptional ease of use.
Its lightweight structure, high level of control and reliability make it a versatile solution for a wide range of professional Sound Reinforcement applications, particularly touring, rental and medium to large scale installations.
The system features a lightweight but highly resistant reinforced polypropylene cabinet, housing two 10" neodymium transducers and two 1.75" M-60 compression drivers coupled to a high-precision waveguide.
The symmetrical V-shaped transducer configuration ensures a constant horizontal coverage of 90° down to 200Hz.
The waveguide controls vertical dispersion and ensures precise coupling between units in vertical arrays, optimizing system performance in line array configurations.
The integrated amplifier module incorporates rain protection that provides additional protection for the electronics in adverse weather conditions.
The EVENT-30A integrates Smart Self Tuning technology, an intelligent alignment system that automatically optimizes system performance within an array. Using infrared sensors, each unit identifies its position and communicates with the other cabinets.
The system detects the total number of cabinets, identifies the top and bottom units, and recognizes the exact position of each element, automatically loading the appropriate presets, including long and short throw modes. This process eliminates the need for manual configuration, significantly reducing setup time and minimizing potential errors.
The integrated DSP uses a high-end 24-bit processor and integrates FIR processing, maintaining a constant phase response and ensuring clear and defined sound reproduction.
The EVENT-30A is fully compatible with other models in the series, such as the EVENT.26A and EVENT-28A. Combined with DAScontrol™, Smart Self-Tuning technology allows precise control and an optimized workflow, especially suitable for touring and rental applications.
With its Class D amplifier, the EVENT-30A delivers a peak power of 2000W and achieves a maximum linear sound pressure level of 138dB (AES75), ensuring consistent and reliable performance in the most demanding professional applications.
The installation of EVENT-30A arrays is simplified by the Fast Set Splay (FSS™) rigging system, which allows quick selection of the splay angle directly from the transport trolley. Made of steel, the rigging system supports configurations of up to 24 units with 1° adjustments between 0° and 10°.
Designed to work in combination with the EVENT-S218A subwoofer, the EVENT-30A creates a powerful and controlled full-range system. Weighing 26.5 kg, it offers an optimal balance of power, advanced technology and portability, making it a reliable solution for medium to large events, fixed installations and professional rental applications.
