The VANTEC-20A is a curved source active line array that incorporates a vast assortment of hi-tech solutions designed
to provide the versatility required by today's audio professionals. Stacked on the VANTEC-118A subwoofer, suspended
in a compact array or used alone on a speaker stand, the VANTEC-20A can be effectively used
in an incredible number of applications, including corporate A/V, medium-sized sound reinforcement, and permanent installations.
Designed for use in arrays of up to 5 units, the VANTEC-20A is ideal for applications where the power and long-throw characteristics
of large line arrays are not required. Quick and simple setup is guaranteed by the unique DAS Click-Lock™ system that allows
the system to be securely attached to the VANTEC-118A or stacked on top of it.
Individual units can be mounted on tripods with precise aiming thanks to the variable-angle pole mount
that allows a tilt of 13.5º upwards or downwards.
The DAScontrolTM interface allows users to easily configure VANTEC-20A systems for individual use or in combination
with other units. Selectable high-pass filter presets facilitate alignment with active bass systems VANTEC-18A
and VANTEC-118A without external processing. Launch compensation settings and array size selection
can be managed simply via the DAScontrolTM interface. When the VANTEC-20A is used individually, the DASlink™APP
can be used to stream music in high definition stereo and remotely control system functions.
The cabinet is made of Baltic birch plywood and finished with the DAS ISO-flex coating.
Power is provided by a state-of-the-art 1500 W peak Class D amplifier,
in a bi-amplified configuration, driving a single DAS 12F4C speaker and two M-60 compression drivers.
