The VANTEC-218A is an active subwoofer system designed to provide extended bass response for VANTEC full-range cabinets.
A powerful 4000 W peak amplifier drives two DAS 18LX long-excursion bass speakers that incorporate
4″ voice coils and massive magnet structures for high power handling and impressive output.
The VANTEC-218A is powered by a Class D amplifier with a switch-mode power supply, digital signal processing
and a 4000 W peak power rating. The system includes two balanced inputs (A-B) with stereo output connections
with HPF filter for satellite systems. Disabling the HPF filter provides stereo "loop thru" connections. The variable LPF crossover
ranges from 80 Hz to 125 Hz. Gain control and polarity inversion increase the user's system control.
The compact cabinet of the VANTEC-218A is made of birch plywood and is finished with a high-strength
ISO-flex black paint coating. Handles on the sides and back of the cabinet and the two rear wheels
make it easy to move the box. The powder-coated steel front grille protects the DAS components.
