The CAP-2A is an HDMI capture device designed for live streaming, video production, and content creation. Compared to the Datavideo CAP-2, it supports higher resolution (4K at 30 fps and Full HD at 120 fps) and uses a high-speed USB-C 3.2 connection. Thanks to the latter, it offers seamless connectivity across various operating systems with Plug & Play setup.
The CAP-2A is compatible with streaming and video conferencing software such as OBS, Zoom, Google Meet, and VLC, ensuring operational versatility for various applications. It features an HDMI loop-through output for real-time monitoring and supports a wide range of input and output video formats, including 4K, 1440p, 1080p, 720p with different refresh rates. It allows mixing embedded HDMI audio with external audio sources via a 3.5 mm mini-jack stereo input.
Powered directly via the USB port, it boasts power consumption under 4.5 W. Its compact dimensions of 105 x 68 x 23 mm and a weight of only 75 g make it easily transportable and ideal for mobile setups.
