The TP-700 is a professional teleprompter that is simple to use, based on hardware built to withstand the most demanding conditions and software with high-end functionalities. A high-quality mirror glass with low iron content is used, so that the mirror has no tint. It features a bright 15" 4:3 LCD screen with the dvPrompter Plus application integrated, so there is no need to run software on a laptop.
This teleprompter can be used with ENG-style cameras mounted directly on the teleprompter rig itself, or with any camera in its standalone configuration. It supports Talent monitors up to 19" with 75mm and 100mm VESA mounts, ideal for use with Datavideo TLM-170 series monitors.
Via HDMI input and output or IP sync over Ethernet, multiple TP-700s can be connected together. The HDMI input also allows the 15" LCD screen to be used as an HDMI monitor with third-party software, if needed. The HDMI output can also drive other external displays. The teleprompter can be controlled using our WR-500 handheld remote control, FS-30 foot pedal, or any generic presentation remote control with a USB receiver.
The powerful text editor allows you to remotely change font size, type, color, and justification according to the script and even use multiple different fonts within a single script. The editor also supports embedding images and creating playlists from multiple scripts.
When two TP-700s are used together in a P2P (Peer to Peer) interview setup, the interviewer and interviewee are able to look directly into the camera lens while still looking directly at an image of each other. This amounts to a natural one-on-one interview style that is also much more engaging for the audience. In addition to text-based scripts, you can now import PowerPoint or Keynote presentation slides via the web interface; slides can be controlled using the WR-500 hardware controller or the web-based remote control interface. dvPrompter Plus supports seamless switching between text-based scripts and slides and real-time slide mirroring so that your content is in the right direction even when viewed through the mirror glass.
