The Datavideo BC-15C is a compact PoE POV camera with interchangeable lenses, featuring a box-style design that allows for flexible mounting anywhere. Although compact, it doesn't compromise on quality. The 1/2.3" 4K CMOS sensor with 4K 50/60p output captures high-quality images and incredible detail.It can accommodate CS-mount lenses or use a C-mount lens with the included 5mm CS-C adapter ring (note that the lens is not supplied with the camera).
The BC-15C supports the SRT streaming protocol, which is superior to RTMP; you don't have to worry about an unreliable network environment. RTMP streaming on unreliable, low-bandwidth networks can cause issues. With dvCloud, you can now replace RTMP with SRT, which will resolve most streaming problems you might encounter. SRT requires less bandwidth and resolves data errors faster.
Video compression is H.264/H.265 for dual streaming; during video production, you can stream simultaneously to two live streaming platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch. With Datavideo dvCloud, you can stream to 25 live streaming platforms simultaneously and automatically back up your video files to the cloud server.
From an operational perspective, the integrated tally lights make it easier for talent to know which camera is live during a multi-camera live production. Physical buttons make camera setup very simple. Once configured, there's no need for an additional remote control. The physical buttons on the BC-15C's rear panel make adjusting settings very easy.
