FEATURES
The DAC-8P 4K is a 4K SDI to HDMI converter for a variety of professional AV and educational broadcast applications. Equipped with an SDI input and both SDI and HDMI outputs, it converts a 12G-SDI signal (at resolutions up to 4K 50/60 fps) to 4K HDMI. The maximum supported resolutions are DCI 4K (4096x2160) and UHD 4K (3840x2160). In addition to the converted 4K HDMI output, there is a 12G-SDI loop-thru for sending a signal to other devices in your workflow.Audio is de-embedded from the SDI input and made available at the HDMI output and analog audio output.
The DAC-8P 4K is very easy to use, being a Plug & Play converter: no settings are needed from your laptop. Among its most important features is the ability to regenerate SDI video with less jitter, improving its eye diagram. The DAC-8P 4K allows for long cable transmission.
This converter also supports HDMI Deep Color for more realistic and stunning videos with much better quality. Super robust and durable, the DAC-8P 4K adopts a sturdy metal chassis for use even in the toughest conditions. Heat dissipation always remains very low, which is ideal for long hours of operation in environments with normal ventilation.
