The VTC-100 is a new generation PTZ camera designed by Datavideo to provide extremely smooth automatic shooting. It stands out for its dual-lens system that combines a wide-angle lens with a 110° field of view with a second PTZ lens equipped with 12x optical zoom: the panoramic lens surveys the scene and identifies the active speaker, while the PTZ lens performs the tight and dynamic framing. Thanks to AI processing, the camera recognizes the voice and its source, automatically performing tracking and framing without human intervention.
The image sensor is a 1/2.8” Sony CMOS with 2.14 effective Mpixels, capable of producing video up to 1080p 60 with a signal-to-noise ratio equal to or greater than 45 dB. The optics offer a focal range from 4.1 to 49.2 mm, with an aperture of F1.6 – F2.8, while image management includes functions such as WDR, 2D / 3D noise reduction, automatic or manual white balance, automatic or manual focus, and backlight exposure compensation. The PTZ mechanism allows wide and precise movements, with horizontal rotation of ±130° and tilt from +90° to –30°, variable speeds from 0.2°/s up to 90°/s in Pan and 60°/s in Tilt, as well as 254 recallable presets.
Connectivity is particularly comprehensive: the VTC‑100 offers HDMI 1.4b, 3G‑SDI outputs, IP streaming via RJ45, UVC for Plug & Play use, and support for major control protocols, including VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco‑D/P, ONVIF, DVIP, and NDI|HX3. Streaming is compatible with RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT, ONVIF, and multicast, with configurable dual stream and bitrate up to 20 Mbps. Audio inputs are available on mini-jack and USB‑A for microphones, with support for AAC, PCM, and G.711 formats. The camera can be managed via IR remote control, RS‑232/RS‑422 interfaces, Datavideo hardware controller, or web interface.
The particularly compact design and light weight of 2 kg facilitate installation on a wall, ceiling, or tripod, while PoE power simplifies cabling. The VTC‑100 comes with an IR remote control and power supply.
