To celebrate the company's 25th anniversary, Elektron has created the e25 Remix Edition: a limited series of Syntakt, Digitakt, and Digitone units. Inspired by the colors of Elektron's renowned "Machines," the e25 Remix Edition units feature a silver control panel and gray buttons, knobs, and casing, just like the units that made Elektron famous. This limited series of devices is handcrafted, the casing is made of stainless steel, the logos are laser-engraved, and each unit is individually numbered. The packaging is also exclusive: made of black cardboard with silver lettering and logos; in addition to the device, power supply, and USB cable, it includes a poster, a sheet with many stickers, and a special audio cassette (reaffirming the vintage style that the e25 Remix Edition series is inspired by), with an hour of original and eclectic music created by the Elektron team. Released in 2022, Syntakt is the youngest of the Elektron units, but it is brimming with sonic possibilities and rich in powerful sound exploration tools. Analog and digital synthesis. Drum and melody. All in full fusion. Syntakt's various percussive and melodic Machines represent an incredibly adventurous "musical playground"; and even though it was released just over a year ago, additional Machines have already been added to further expand the sonic possibilities. And more will follow. Digitone was released in 2018 in the wake of Digitakt, continuing the "Digi" line, as an innovative and accessible interpretation of FM synthesis and a primary source of new sounds. With it, you can easily create rich and enchanting tones, diving from jagged chaos to sonic sweetness, seemingly emanating from a parallel universe. The creativity behind the device and the addition of new performance-focused features have continued to expand Digitone's sonic vocation.
