ELEKTRON DIGITONE KEYS is an 8-voice digital polyphonic synthesizer for live performances, with which to create new soundscapes previously inaccessible. The 37-key velocity-sensitive keyboard with aftertouch offers a whole new level of expression and control of Digitone's audio engine.
ELEKTRON DIGITONE KEYS leverages Digitone's powerful audio engine with intuitive sound processing, 8 voices of polyphony, 37 keys, pitch bend and modulation wheels, separate outputs for each track, and brand new customizable controls. The Multimap function allows you to configure and assign individual sounds to different zones, triggering sounds or patterns with the touch of a key, as well as the ability to freely use portamento and arpeggio across three octaves.
With separate outputs for each track, connecting to external effects, mixers and pedals, audio interfaces, and modulation sources is easier than ever.
Featuring the same acclaimed audio engine as Digitone, Digitone Keys combines a modern implementation of FM synthesis with the classic signal flow of subtractive synthesis systems, making it a powerful source of truly unique tones and timbres. The FM sound generators have been optimized for a clean and efficient sound creation process.
Naturally, Elektron's world-class sequencer is also an integral part of ELEKTRON DIGITONE KEYS. Four tracks are available for internal sounds, and four dedicated MIDI tracks are ready for controlling external devices. Using the sequencer, you can quickly add chords or create melodies adhering to a specific scale, add probability settings to individual notes, and create tracks with different lengths.
