ELEKTRON SYNTAKT is a 12-track drum computer and synthesizer that, in addition to being a drum specialist with infinite percussive possibilities, also features four analog tracks and eight digital tracks that can also be used for melody, harmony, and bass sounds.
ELEKTRON SYNTAKT features 35 sound-generating machines to draw from, covering a wide range of drum and melodic sounds. Some of them are taken from Analog Rytm and Model:Cycles but with greater control, while others are completely new.
ELEKTRON SYNTAKT provides a set of parameter controls tailor-made for each Machine, allowing you to quickly change the nature of any sound type by showing only the relevant options.
ELEKTRON SYNTAKT allows you to route any synth track or external audio source through the FX block. This gives access to analog distortion and filtering, and a couple of LFOs to modulate everything. In addition, Delay and Reverb can also be used as powerful send effects.
ELEKTRON SYNTAKT has four modifiers for additional levels of expression; the first two act on Retrig or Velocity, while the other two are used to access other parameters.
The keyboard mode of ELEKTRON SYNTAKT offers many different scales, from the most familiar to those with a more particular flavor.
All tracks have a multimode filter that allows you to emphasize different parts of your sound, with digital tracks also able to recall parametric equalization and a base-width filter (an additional filter that gives you even more sonic control).
All synth tracks have two full-featured LFOs with multiple waveforms and modulation destinations.
The top-level 64-step sequencer allows you to create dynamic soundscapes by controlling both structure and sound to such an extent that it is like a musical instrument in itself.
ELEKTRON SYNTAKT is also ready and able to connect to Class Compliant devices, meaning it can easily connect to computers, smartphones or tablets for USB audio and MIDI. Connect with ease.
ELEKTRON SYNTAKT comes with an incredible sound library: There are over 1000 presets.
