The new Eurolite Strobe Pro 864 is not just a very bright strobe – the device is capable of continuous light and can therefore also be used as a blinder or floodlight. It gets its light output from 864 SMD-5050 LEDs, which provide a powerful light output and a particularly wide beam angle of 120 degrees. The color mixing is based on red, green and blue, from which countless other colors can be mixed. Even an aggressive cold white for strobe tasks or a warm white for blinder effects are no problem. Depending on the task, various DMX modes are available. In the smallest mode with 5 channels, the three colors can be controlled, the total brightness adjusted, and the music mode and a simple strobe function activated. This mode is ideal when the spotlight is to be used as a washlight or floodlight. In the larger 9-channel mode, you have access to various strobe effects, can set not only the frequency but also the duration of each flash, and call up various color programs. Ideal, therefore, for strobe use, but also as an all-round floodlight. Another special feature comes into play in the largest DMX mode: In this mode, 18 pixels can be controlled individually via 54 DMX channels. The device is therefore also ideally suited for matrix tasks. During development, Eurolite paid attention to creating a reliable spotlight that meets professional requirements but does not cut a deep hole in the wallet. The housing is simple in design, but high-quality in workmanship and very robust. The brackets are stable and hold well in the set position. Power is supplied via a P-Con connector; up to 6 devices can be operated in series via the P-Con outputs.
