EVE AUDIO SC203 are a pair of 3" monitors consisting of a two-way Master monitor and a Slave monitor. The Master monitor houses four dedicated 30W power amplifiers for each woofer and tweeter, with a separate filter for more precise control.
For accurate low-frequency reproduction, Eve Audio has developed an ultra-durable 3” coated paper woofer, coupled with a large voice coil capable of handling longer linear excursions (+/-5 mm). In addition, the rear panel includes a passive radiator, whose diaphragm moves in unison with the woofer, strengthening low-frequency reproduction and allowing the monitors to go down to 62 Hz (+3dB). A further advantage of Eve Audio's passive radiator is the elimination of noise caused by turbulence from the bass reflex tube.
Based on Eve Audio's established Air Motion technology, the new µA.M.T. tweeter has been further optimized for more accurate high-frequency sound reproduction, even in small desktop monitors. Non-removable front grilles protect the tweeter and woofer from possible damage.
The EVE AUDIO SC203 are equipped with all the necessary connections for a desktop setup and for connecting to different types of sound sources: stereo RCA inputs, S/PDIF optical digital input, USB port for direct connection to Mac and PC computers, RCA output for adding a subwoofer and creating a 2.1 system. A dedicated switch on the rear panel allows you to select the 80 Hz crossover frequency to use the SC203 monitors as satellites.
The EVE AUDIO SC203 are equipped with a sophisticated high-resolution DSP-based filtering system, which allows you to adapt the speaker response to the working environment and everyone's needs. To ensure greater reliability and quality, the DSP is supported by a Cirrus Logic A/D converter with 24bit/192kHz resolution and, since the PWM amplifiers are directly connected to it, no further conversion is necessary. Volume adjustment, balance, input selection, LED brightness, and all acoustic response filter adjustments can be made with a single convenient push-function knob on the front panel.
