EVENTIDE BLACK HOLE is a reverb effect pedal equipped with 5 "unearthly" presets. You can create supermassive atmospheres with Blackhole's ethereal reverb, fly among the clouds with Dark Matter's airy delay, achieve sound supernovas with Nebula's resounding swirl, explore a galaxy of sounds with Singularity's warmth, and get a stellar rotation of sounds with Pulsar; or get creative and create your own presets.
EVENTIDE BLACK HOLE can load up to 127 presets via MIDI and these are also accessible in the preset list on Eventide Device Manager (EDM).

- Fine-tune your tone with the Lo, Hi, and Q (resonance) controls. Use the tone controls to add airiness or clarify the low end. Map the EQ controls to an expression pedal to add movement to the reverb tail
- Unique Gravity control to customize the reverb tail in two realms: normal or inverse decay. Create interesting swells or suck the dry signal into the reverb tail. At longer decay times, Blackhole allows articulation to shine without competing with the reverb tail
EVENTIDE BLACK HOLE offers two types of infinite reverb. "Infinite mode" continuously layers the new sound over a suspended reverb, while "freeze mode" holds the effect in stasis, allowing you to play over the reverb tail. The Freeze footswitch provides immediate access to this feature.
Unlike other reverbs that may offer pre or post modulation, EVENTIDE BLACK HOLE features modulation built into the very structure of the reverb: this modulation can be used to smooth out the rough edges of more extreme settings and offers a unique tone-shaping ability.
