The VERTUS CLA 208SA is an active bass-reflex subwoofer designed for professional applications requiring compact dimensions and high performance in the low-frequency range. It features two custom 200 mm (8″) high-excursion woofers with 50 mm voice coils, ensuring precise and detailed bass reproduction.
The frequency response ranges from 50Hz to 180Hz, accurately covering low frequencies. The 600W RMS Class D amplification with a switching power supply ensures maximum efficiency and low distortion. The integrated DSP processor offers four presets, allowing the subwoofer's response to be adapted to different acoustic contexts.
The control panel includes XLR inputs and stereo link, stereo XLR Hi-Pass outputs, volume control, preset selection, 0°-180° phase adjustment, and status LEDs. Power is managed via Neutrik POWERCON input and link connectors. The cabinet, constructed from 15 mm birch plywood with a scratch-resistant finish, features two integrated handles, an M20 pole mount, and front brackets for attaching CLA 604A modules. The stackable design facilitates transport and setup for both portable and installed systems.
