Estimated delivery in Italy between 16 and 18 June
24bit/192kHz USB audio interface
Scarlett brings professional audio quality from Focusrite wherever you create music. The fourth-generation Scarlett series features new microphone preamps with enhanced gain, providing up to 69dB of gain, and new converters derived from the Rednet series, ensuring a dynamic range of 116dB on inputs and an impressive 120dB on outputs. The headphone output has also been optimized, both in terms of impedance, which is 300 Ohms, and for dynamic range and power.
With the 4th Generation Scarlett 2i2 USB audio interface, recording and releasing your songs is easier than ever. Two quality microphone preamps with an impressive 69dB of Gain, professional-grade converters with a dynamic range of 120dB, like those you would find in a high-level recording studio. The Air mode allows you to record with the style of a large studio console. Optimal sound from any headphones thanks to the dedicated output, which has been improved in your Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation to work even with high-impedance headphones. A complete kit of DAW software and plugins that includes 3 months of Pro Tools Artist, Ableton Live Lite, and the Focusrite Hitmaker bundle, giving you access to Auto-Tune Access, Softube Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555 for electric guitar, the virtual synth MASSIVE by Native Instruments®, and much more. Focusrite Scarlett is the most widely used USB audio interface in the world. Join a community of over six million artists, including some of the biggest names in international music.
In the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen. audio interface, the XLR and Jack inputs are now separated, no longer COMBO. The connectors are Neutrik, and the jack has priority over the XLR: if a jack connector is inserted, the microphone input and its preamplification will be automatically disabled.
With Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen, you record with 192 kHz/24 bit converters identical to those found in Rednet interfaces, the flagship series of the Focusrite catalogue, present in countless professional recording studios worldwide. Capture every sonic detail.
Visual level control across the entire Gain Staging chain. Scarlett's dynamic Halo Meter LEDs allow you to set input gain levels quickly and easily with any sound source. Now, the Scarlett 2i2 also features the Halo Meter on the output, so the circumference of the potentiometer dedicated to setting the monitor output volume of your 4th Generation Scarlett will light up to indicate the output level and any distortion. On the inputs of your Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen, you can activate Auto Gain: press the button and play for ten seconds; Scarlett will then set the perfect level for whatever you are recording.
Clip Safe is the new feature useful for preserving the parts you've played if the maximum input level, i.e., 0dBFS, is exceeded. When active, the signal will be subject to level analysis with a resolution of 96000 points per second, then a combination of automatic analog adjustments, on the preamps, and digital adjustments via DSP will be applied. This pairing of Auto Gain and Clip Safe will make your recordings simpler and more immediate: focus on the performance and less on the controls.
The well-known Air function, designed to emulate the sound of historic analog consoles from Focusrite, has undergone significant improvements in this fourth-generation series: analog presence and DSP-based saturation. We are free to apply only the analog or both as we wish. Make your recorded tracks stand out in the mix. Once you've tried it, you won't be able to do without it.
A custom-designed headphone amplifier, with an impedance of 300 Ohms and an enviable dynamic range, creates the perfect conditions for the best sound reproduction you've ever achieved from a Scarlett interface. Thanks to independent volume controls on the headphone output and the Master monitor output, you can record, mix, and play back audio by adjusting the levels of both outputs as desired. Even high-impedance headphones will now sound louder and more linear with your fourth-generation Scarlett.
