SCARLET 2i2 3RD GEN is a USB C audio interface with two mic/line/instrument inputs for simultaneously recording and playing back up to two channels with independent controls for headphones and monitor outputs.
SCARLET 2i2 3RD GEN features 2 upgraded third-generation Scarlett microphone preamplifiers with the optional Air mode which recreates the Air effect of the original Focusrite ISA microphone preamplifier, allowing you to give vocal and acoustic recordings a brighter and airier sound.
SCARLET 2i2 3RD GEN features high-performance 24-bit/192 kHz AD-DA converters and high-impedance instrument inputs that allow you to record guitar or bass without clipping or unwanted distortion, while Gain Halo metering makes it easy to set the input level.
SCARLET 2i2 3RD GEN connects directly to your Mac® or PC with a USB C cable, without external power, and comes with all the software tools you need to get started, including two complete digital audio workstations (Ableton® Live Lite™ and Pro Tools® First Focusrite Creative Pack) and a free 3-month Splice Sounds subscription when you register a new Splice account.
