The FOCUSRITE SCARLETT 8i6 3RD GEN is an 8-in, 6-out USB C audio interface with improved A-D and D-A conversion, allowing for clear and detailed recordings up to 24-bit/192kHz. Two independent high-fidelity headphone outputs with dedicated volume control enable flexible monitoring during recording and mixing.
The FOCUSRITE SCARLETT 8i6 3RD GEN offers two of Focusrite's best 3rd generation Scarlett microphone preamps featuring an optional Air mode, which recreates the Air effect of the original ISA mic preamp, giving vocal or acoustic recordings a brighter and more open sound.
The FOCUSRITE SCARLETT 8i6 3RD GEN is equipped with two high-headroom instrument inputs without clipping or unwanted distortion and six flexible line inputs (two on the front panel with gain control and four fixed on the back) that allow you to record up to six mono or three stereo line-level sources, such as synthesizers or drum machines.
A pair of virtual loopback inputs allows you to capture a stereo feed of any combination of hardware input and software playback channels, simplifying podcasting, live streaming, and sampling.
The FOCUSRUSS SCARLETT 8i6 3RD GEN connects directly to your Mac® or PC with a USB cable and comes with all the software tools you need to get started (two complete digital audio workstations, Ableton® Live Lite ™ and Pro Tools® First Focusrite Creative Pack; Softube's Time and Tone Bundle; Focusrite's Red Plug-in Suite; a choice of four XLN Audio Addictive Keys) including a free 3-month Splice Sounds subscription when registering a new Splice account.
