The NMX-88 is an audio matrix with a digital signal processor (DSP) that offers a complete and versatile solution for managing and processing audio signals. With this matrix, you can configure audio systems with easy control for the end-user. It features powerful audio signal processing tools to adapt and enhance the signal for any venue or application and achieve the best results for sound reinforcement. It offers the installer the ability to configure audio systems with multiple inputs and outputs. And the user has a simple way to control the sound.

It is based on an ADI SHARC 21489 architecture, with 40-bit floating-point and ample processing capacity (400 MIPS, 1600 MFLOPS). It has 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs. In addition, it has a USB sound card input and output channel for playback and recording on a PC or for use with video call software. One of the notable features of the NMX-88 audio matrix is its signal processing algorithms. The main ones include: Echo Cancellation (AEC) for video conferencing. Acoustic Feedback Cancellation (AFC) allows flexible placement of microphones and speakers, improving speech amplification and delivering audio where needed. Automatic Noise Suppression (ANS) effectively eliminates non-speech stationary noise. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) ensures inputs are at an optimal level. In addition to other functions such as auto-mixing and priority control, it also features signal dynamics processing such as parametric filters, graphic filters, noise gate, expander, compressor, delays, crossover network, and limiter. Each channel has a volume control that can operate independently or link two channels to form a stereo channel. The mapping matrix allows inputs to be mapped to outputs with independent volume in each mapping. Possibility to select a different mix for each output. Up to 16 loadable scenes and memory function with automatic saving of selected parameters from the last session. 8 GPIO ports to control actions on the matrix or other devices. For conference system applications, it features PTZ camera control to monitor the debate.

The matrix has powerful modular configuration software. You can configure each input channel with 5 different processing modules and each output channel with 4 processing modules. The processing algorithms have excellent parameterization. It allows for great configuration flexibility and customization to provide a solution for each installation, such as audio distribution, conference systems, etc. The configuration software can manage multiple arrays to form a complex system. With the software, you can create custom control panels to run on touchscreens, tablets, or smartphones (Android and iOS). Where you can exclusively show the necessary functions for each user. The matrix can be connected via an Ethernet port. It features UDP, RS-232, and RS-485 connectivity and a communication protocol for integration with other control systems.

Thanks to its flexibility, it can be used for voice applications such as conference systems or video call rooms, and in music systems in restaurants, hotels, shopping centers, etc.
